Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right group to post to. I have a win2000 AD domain
and want to set the FSMO to recieve time from a XP Pro machine that has a
sat card in it. This will provide Statum1 time for the domain. I've read
through the KB's on but can't figure out how to do this. If it can be done
at all? It seem as though the FSMO machine would have to contain the
hardware time card device for this to work?

Thanks for any help.
Barry

By default, all PC's or workstations in a domain (Windows clients) will pull
their time from the PDC Emulator. Here is an article though on how to setup
the PDC Emulator to pull from an external time source. Should work for what
you want. Hope this helps!
