How to config SMTP-server

Windows 2003 Server SP1

Server is standing Internet-router, web- and mail-server for my local
network. We have a static IP and registered domain. Problem is that my SMTP
by default is open relay and any worm and etc. can send spam via my SMTP.
How to configure SMTP server to rule: allow SEND mail only from my local
network and deny outside?

This Knowledge Base article

describes very good what to do for Exchange. It should apply as well to the
buildt in Windows SMTP service.
