Hi all,
first of all I have to tell you that I am a real beginner with linux.

In the moment I have a DSL NAT router that connects my home network to
the
internet. What I would like to do is to place a linux server into my
home network that has pptpd installed and allows to access data on
some machines in the home netwok with a W2k client from the internet.

I read some information about pptpd and how to configure it in the
web, but nothing really worked. Since my task seems not to be too
uncommon in my mind, I am wondering if there may be a description for
this, that could help a dummy like me to solve the task (Which config
files do I have to create/manipulate in SuSE 8.2? Do I have to install
and configure PPP? If yes, how?...).

Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards,
Markus
