Morning.

Win98 SE

500mHz

Netgear DS104 hub

I have completely restructured my adapters and protocols and closed port 135 on both computers. I'm using TCP/IP for Internet communication and NetBEUI for intranet. Both firewalls are completely shut down (hoping that the closed 135 port will allow protection). Before shutting down the firewalls, I tried setting them to share network. Printers and file sharing is enabled. 3 drives on "B" and 4 drives on "A" are set to FULL share. Both machines have unique 8 digit names and both have the same workgroup name. I logon to both.

What am I missing?

The "B" machine can see both A & B but can not access "A".

The "A" machine does not see either one.

Both computers access the internet with no problem.

What else am I missing?
