Computers on different APs can't see each other

I have two wireless Access Points (one Orinoco, one Linksys) connected to
each other and both to an ADSL router via an ethernet hub (Netgear DS104).

The computers connected to one AP can see each other and also see hosts on
the Internet, and those connected to the other AP can see the hosts also
connected to their AP and can see hosts on the Internet, however none of
the folks connected to one AP can connect (either by IP or by Microsoft
networking) to the hosts which have wireless connections to the other AP.

BTW, all the computers use real static IP addresses manually assigned from
an allocated /27 netblock, so no NAT or DHCP anywhere.

Anyone got any ideas?

Tony

Do all the subnet masks match?

Yes. If I move a client from one AP to the other it loses its previous
neighbours and discovers the ones attached to the other AP and all the
clients see the router which has its config screen on the local network.

It's as if packets are not passing between the two APs through the hub
while it is passing through that same hub between APs and the router.

What happens if you do a "tracert xxx" from a client on one AP to a client
IP on the other AP?

Could be a routing issue - you can do a "netstat -r" to see the router
tables on the PC's.

I believe it was stars and request timeouts. But I'll check again when I
get back to the site at the end of the weekend.

I'll try that too, but not sure they will mean much to me.
