Computer 'takes out' router

Hi - I have a Belkin router (F5D7633/4 if this makes any difference)
which is Ok most of the time THEN connection is suddenly lost as
confirmed by the router LEDs
On switching off the computer my router is back to normal health within
10 seconds. Any ideas? [I've lost a good bit of time over a long period
+ resart wastes energy!]

Check to see if you have the latest firmware:

Any F5D7633 Firmware 1.00.010 7/25/2005 2.66 Mbytes
