Computer Name and IP Address

I have a simple peer to peer network with all workstations having IP
addresses assigned by DHCP. On the one computer ICS is activated, so this
has a static ip (192.168.0.1) and a name (P4) has been set up. My problem
is that i cannot contact the computer using either net send or remote
desktop connection using 'P4' but need to use 192.168.0.1

Any ideas why?

You need to have NetBui enabled - tick 'use NetBui over TCP/IP' box

I think you mean NETBios. It is actually enabled by default, but is set
to get NETBios info via DHCP and sometimes this don't work correctly, so
it can set to enabled.
