Those small thumb-sized Wi-Fi adapters. Any reviews comparing different
makes?

Anyone have good news to report about a particular one?

I'm in the US, btw, so the DSE model, though enviable, isn't an option for
me.

I need it to be Mac-compatible, too.

Thanks,

Consider using USB adaptor on a length of cable, much easier to position for
best signal, half an inch can make a difference.
I use Orinoco, works great.

I'm quite happy so far with my new DLink DWL-122 for $29.95.
It compares favorably with the Orinoco Silver in reception, and it can be
located where I need it. That's not true of the Orinoco.
It works with the latest NetStumbler.

Are Orinoco products still available? www.orinocowireless.com doesn't work
anymore.

It does work -- it takes you to Proxim's web site. Proxim bought
Orinoco's wireless line last year. (They also gave new part
numbers to all the old products, it seems.)
