hi,

I have two different mini-pci wifi cards. Can anyone suggest way to
compare how they perform in my laptop?

Not exactly a lab test, but this should suffice.

Install and configure the card to your access point or wireless
router. Stream some video or audio from the internet or your local
machine. Reduce the buffering to as few seconds as possible on your
player. Start walking. At some point, the video or audio will start
to continuously fall apart. Mark the distance. Repeat with the other
card. The card with the most range wins.
