Compaq Evo 1015V wireless?

I've been having problems trying to get my Compaq Evo 1015v to work with
Wireless-G PCMCIA network cards - I've already tried and failed with Linksys
and Netgear flavours.

Then I investigated the possbility of buying a mini-PCI wireless network
module.

Apparently, these will work with the 1015V, but having had a look inside I
don't see any cable for connecting the module to the wireless antenna. All I
see is the cable currently connected to the mini-PCI modem, and a grounding
cable.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the mini-PCI module will work?

If it cannot, could someone _please_ tell me what manufacturer makes a
PCMCIA card which will work with this laptop!
