communication over VPN

I have two sites connected over VPN. I can communicate using IP address and
share information but I want to be able to see the computer accross VPN in my
network places. both sites are on different subnets but this can be changed
if there is no other way.

I am not an expert so please be polite.

Browsing across WAN links is frequently problematic. The usual solution is
WINS and you can do some interesting things with lmhosts files. See:
