Hello,
I am looking into cable internet from Comcast and had a few questions.
I have a wireless network (WEP'ed) that I just use for my house only (Not
for sharing with other people). From what I have read on Comcast's site I
can't decide if I need the basic plan or the advanced plan for multiple
computers.

I think the basic plan is all that is needed because the router is a
computer (From a electronics point of view), but I don't want them to fine
my for having more than one system on a basic plan.

Scott

If you have more then one computer and don't planon anything more than
normal internet use then just get a router with a built in switch and AP.
If you are going to be runing any servers then get static IPs for the
servers.

Go for the basic / standard plan.

They do not forbid / prevent you from using a router and/or wireless for
sharing within your own house.
