combine 2 different broadband connections?

I have access to both NTL Broadband & BT Broadband, nether of which are USB
connections. Therefore, can I install 2 network cards in my machine and
take advantage of the double speed that would, theoretically, be available??

I'm running XP Home. Mail servers wouldn't be a problem as I run my own via
my host provider (unconnected to my 2 ISP's)

You could do it with Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Easier to get a
load-balancing router I think, unless you want to run something like
Linux Router Project on an old PC.
