Hi, took my laptop into college the other day and noticed that there was an
active wireless network called WaveLan.

I am jst wondering wether to use the internet thru the network the
workgroups have to be the same? There is a chance that the wireless network
is just a techy bloke messing about and may only be one machine connected to
it but I am just trying to elimnate posibilities here as there may be net
access thru this AP but I may be doing something wrong... )....

Many thanks for any replies for people with experience with this matter.

PS: The network doesn't use WEP.
