ClusterNFS and Locking

Hi,

we are running clusternfs-3.0rc2.suse-0 on a SuSE 9.0 machine.
Unfortunately, it seems like clusternfs does not support locking (at
least, Eclipse 3.1 complains about the missing locking functionality).

As far as I noticed, the "ordinary" nfs daemon from SuSE comes with an
rpc.lockd, which seems to manage locking. That locking daemon is missing
in the clusternfs package, though, and clusternfs says it's not
compatible with the nfs-utils package from the SuSE distribution.

Does anyone know how to get locking functionality into clusternfs? Or is
there a more up-to-date solution providing client-specific versions of
files and directories (the latest clusternfs (3.0rc2) is from November
2001)?

Thanks in advance,

Christoph
