Clock gaining time

One of my users noticed that when he logs into the domain
from his Win98se workstation to my NT4 PDC the clock on
his workstation gains 30 minutes. If you cancel the login
and just work local the clock stays correct.
Check the time on the server and it is correct. He is not
running any log on scripts. just maping drives.

any one else seen anything like this?

Thanks
