I've set up a new 2003 server and configured Routing and
Remote Access. (Also DNS) I've enabled NAT and the basic
firewall and want my other computers to connect through
the server.

I have 2 network cards in the server.........
Internal:
IP: 192.168.1.100
NM: 255.255.255.0
GW: none
DNS: 192.168.1.100

External:
IP: Prov by ISP
NM: Prov by ISP
GW: Prov by ISP
DNS: 192.168.1.100

The server connects to the internet fine, I can browse
from the console. I have IIS running, have set up a
couple of websites, and configured the port access so
that they work.(I can access them externally)

My problem is the workstations can't browse. I get name
resolution, but they can't see past the server. If I ping
the server's internal & external addresses I get a reply,
but I don't get a reply from the ISP's gateway. If I do
an NS lookup on anything it resolves correctly.

Here's how they are configured.....statically
IP: 192.168.1.x
NM: 255.255.255.0
GW: 192.168.1.100
DNS: 192.168.1.100

Any suggestions would be appreciated......Thanks!

Sounds like NAT is not working properly. Can you X2 the logs?

Couldn't find anything in the logs.....Not sure what the
problem was, but I disabled Routing and Remote Access and
then reconfigured and all is working. Thanks for the
help!
