Situation: Have 2 Windows 2003 Std Servers. Both are DC's in a single domain
envirnoment. Using Active directory integrated DNS, both are DNS servers.
Server 1 is file/print/DHCP/1st DNS/1st DC. Server 2 is SQL server/2nd
DNS/2nd DC.

I am not sure if this is a networking, DNS or config problem.

Problem: Cannot see any clients from My Network Places, Entire Network from
these servers. Server 1 can see the domain but only returns itself and server
2. Server 2 can see the domain but takes about a minute to return any
results, and it only see itself and server 1. All clients on the network are
Windows XP SP1 with no fire wall installed. All clients on the network can
see every other clients, including servers.

Please help?!!

If you can search through recent messages on this newsgroup you will see
many discussions on problems with the browse list. The number one problem
seems to be when a domain controller is multihomed or also a Remote Access
Server, particualry the pdc fsmo which will be the domain master browser.
Since you still are relying on My Network Places you should be using wins on
the network making sure that all computers including the domain controllers
are wins clients. Often you will see browser related events in Event Viewer
of domain controllers when you are experiencing problems such as you have.
The links below should get you started. Browstat is a great utility and you
can start off with the basic browstat status command as shown below. When
you run other browstat commands you can easily copy and paste the transport
description into other commands rather than copy that long string. Though
probably not a dns issue see the first link below to make sure your dns is
configured correctly in the domain and I would run the netdiag support tool
on both domain controllers to make sure that they are correctly configured
for the domain. Also if this is a recent problem try to think if their has
been a recent configuration change, particualry for domain controllers such
as security policy, the implementation of security templates, or additional
services.--- Steve
