That is your problem. Install DNS and point your server and your clients to it.
Then you can set it to forward requests to your ISP. NT did not depend on DNS
like a 2000/2003 domain. The 2000/2003 Active directory depends on DNS to find
its server records. DNS is the single greatest issue you will ever have with
this kind of domain.
