Client IP Assignment & DHCP Reservations

Hi All,

Is it necessary to input fixed IP information on the clients, when you have
specified in DHCP that you want to reserve fixed IP Addresses for these
clients?
i.e. Do I need to enter the fixed IP address, gateway, DNS Server etc on the
client when I am running DHCP Server and have supplied a fixed IP reservation
for this client?

No. As long as MAC address does not change on the client they will get
settings that you set on your DHCP server.
