How to clean up DNS

I have just run a DNS audit on our network and it's all over the place! We
have quite a few PCs that don't resolve back to themselves....what is the
best way to go about cleaning this up? Neither of our DNS servers have the
'allow automatic scavenging of stale records' ticked on....is this all I need
to do?

Hello,

You should enable scavenging to get rid of stale records. Are there more
than one records using the same IP address?

Aging and scavenging can be configured on the DNS server or DNS zones.

Or if you use the MS DHCP server check this one:
