In the theory that a lot of others are using Cisco AP's with their Win2003
network.

My AP is a Cisco 1242G. It is used with a Win2003 domain using wireless with
PEAP. The clients are Vista Business and XP SP3 with both 802.11b and
802.11g wireless capability.

What are the best AP setting for the above setup?
What settings should I avoid?

Since you have windows 2003 as domain, I would setup enterprise WPA2 so that
the security is managed by the domain. This how to may help too.

Thanks this is a real help.

One question please:
In the group policy for wireless there is an option to "Provide the key
automatically." Where does this key come from when this option is used??

With enterprise WPA, we don't setup security key. We manage the security
with IAS.
