Recently I have made some changes to my university's wireless Access
Points, We have used Cisco's IOS Migration tool to get VXWorks off of
all our AP's. Although the software upgrade works great, I miss a
feature.

On the VXWorks OS you used to be able to see how many clients were
connected to all Cisco AP's across my network... Now either i cannot
find that feature, or it is non existant.

Is anyone aware of such a feature for Cisco AP's or is there a
software tool that i can use that uses CDP to see how many people are
connected to my AP's?

Thanks

=Brad

IOS APs don't have the feature that allows them to show clients associated
to other APs. The suggested solution is to use a network management
station.

unless the NMS works by magic, it is pulling info from the AP?

so - maybe the answer is - the AP has the info, but you cant get at it from
the web front end.

pull that info. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know.

if the NMS is pulling info, then it is probably via SNMP - get hold of a
standard package and see what a MIB walk shows.

Castle Rock SNMPc is pretty good - but you would have to pay for it.

It's pulling the info from *all* the APs.
