Hello all. I'm in trouble and could use some help. I downloaded the
software to perform a firmware upgrade on my 340 access point. I deleted
the old flash and tried to copy up the new flash - with no success. It
appears I can only access the unit via the console and used the following
URL to guide me
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/102...-upgrade.shtml
The problem is that this process fails at step 6. Just sits there with
CCCCCCCCCCC running across the screen. I don't see where the system even
knows where and what files to upload. I would REALLY appreciate any hints
as Cisco will not help without a credit card.
Thanks so much.

JB

I don't remember how many bytes are copied for each 'C' but if you are
getting CCCCCCCCC across the screen then I think that everything is going
rather well. The C's are the boot OS verifying the CRC's as the bytes
are being copied into flash.
