I've got the above kit, with the Non-NAT static IPs option, as we
already have a few bits that require static IPs. I can't get the router
to talk to the network at all unless I use the routers DHCP. Demon are
being totally pigheaded and refusing to help, because the router was not
sourced from them, even though they supply them preconfigured (at more
than twice the price). All I need is a configuration file for the router
so that my (static addressed) network can use the router with their
service.

If I let the router use DHCP - no problem. If I switch DHCP off and put
in 10.10.10.* addresses on my PCs it's fine, but if I put in a LAN
ethernet address (in the range/subnet they have issued) on Ethernet
Interface 0 using CRWS, then it doesn't let me ping it, but the original
Ethernet Interface 10.10.10.1 address which I have supposedly
overwritten is still active. I don't use IOS often enough to be
confident of changing it through the console, so just wonder - does
anyone have a functional setup on this service for a Cisco router that
they could email me (with their IPs removed obviously), or just tell me
what to put into CRWS to make it work? I've tried all sorts, but I just
can't get the Non-NAT to work, while NAT seriously screws up our VPNs
and such. The WAN address is set to the router address they gave us, so
I have left that alone.

Any hints? This is doing my brain!

Regards

You might want to crosspost the question to demon.service and
comp.dcom.sys.cisco. demon.service contains a number of highly
technical Demon users, and at least one or two with significant Cisco
experience. The regulars in comp.dcom.sys.cisco will almost certainly
be able to help also.

Thanks Anthony. I'll try there as well.
