CIPE user authentication

Hi,

Does CIPE have any means of authenticating users(asking for a
username/password ) like Windows VPN Server? The Windows VPN gives the
user the user option to dial into the VPN network using username and
password. The CIPE client can be enabled and disabled, but it does not
ask fro a username and password while being enabled..Shouldn't it
authenticate against a username ? Or is the key in options.cipcbo for
that?

Any input will be very welcome,

Thanks
Ann
