Chris Hassler/ Asheron's Call over LAN

Alright, I am having a problem getting Asheron's Call to
work over a wireless LAN network and couldn't get the
suggested methods from Microsoft to work and decided to
check out some third party websites. On Cross Roads of
Dereth I found someone who has a similar problem to me

post. So I am essentially reposting his in hopes of
possibly getting his answer/solution.
There is only one thing different in my case, both
computers can log on, but neither can stay on for longer
then approx. 2 mins. Even if only one person is playing.

Well, Greg, nice to see things like that. 8-) I believe the recommendation
was contained in this Knowledge Base article:

In addition to that article, if you haven't already, I would recommend
updating your system to DirectX 9.0b, which includes the latest DirectPlay
compatibilities.
