|| Anyone know how I would get round this.
|| We are just about to buy a new commercial property and I have checked
|| with bt's adsl postcode checker that it can get adsl (which it shows
|| that it can), but if the line was fibre instead of copper would it
|| show that on the postcode checker and then fail or does the postcode
|| checker just make sure that you are in range of the exchange.
|| I can't give a phone number to check as the property has been vacant
|| for some time.
Speak to BT and pretend you are ordering a new line, they will tell you if
there has previously been a telephone installation at that address. Use that
number to do your checking. Dont know however if the tel number check takes
fibre in the ground into account.
