I need a couple of cheap 11Mb/s PCI cards.

They dont have to be the best, just good enough to share a 512/256Kb
ADSL line over a distance of about 10 metres.

The Dlink ones are cheap, something like 35 quid.

Why do they have to be PCI?

They don't have to be PCI, Dabs have USB adaptors for as little as
£25 that would do the job.

yo David.

All your links are wrapped

Have you tried surrounding them with < and > before sending out ?

ie ...

Might stop them being wrapped (depends on the email client. You have to copy
and paste each line else lol

Has the DLink DWL-900AP+ got an antenna connector ?

It's only got one antenna - which is good for long range links as I'm assuming
the RF doesn't have to pass thru a dipole antenna switch (slightly less loss) ?

And it is much different to the WAP11 v1 or v2.6 ? ... better/worser ? ... more
reliable/less reliable ? .. .etc

Hey, I just provide the link, that's an end user problem!

Nope, neat - learn something new each day.

Other way of course, is to hit tinyurl button on my toolbar but that
would have required even more effort.

Cheers

What's the range of adjustable Tx output power on them ?

The info says it has adjustable output power but no mention of the maximum level

Maximum will be up to 100mW.

Can't tell you the downward steps, mine is packed away in a box ready
for moving house.
