In Dixons in Croydon today I asked the price of a Belkin 54g wireless
network PCI card and was told £45. On an impulse (and now Dixons have a
decent returns policy) I took it to the checkout. On asking the assistant
to check the price, she keyed in the code and said "£29.99 - do you want
it?". Um, well, yes!
It's still on their website at £44.99 (same as PC World) so either there's a
Christmas mark-down or their POS is snafu. You might want to check your
local Dixons...
