Cheap 802.11a bridge / SMC2755W?

Can anyone recommend a cheap 802.11a bridge? I want to be able to
*not* have it do NAT / firewalling / whatever, and to let DHCP
requests and responses flow across it instead of it trying to be a
DHCP server itself - basically, for any router/server functionality to
be easily disabled. I'd also like platform-independent configurability.

How about the SMC2755W? It seems to be configurable through HTTP and
SNMP, and I see they're USD20+s/h from TigerDirect, but from the
manual I can't quite tell if they can be configured to act as a dumb
bridge, and SMC don't seem to be responding to my query.

Thanks for any advice.

There is nothing in their documentation about it performing as a bridge, and
none of the screens in the user guide indicate this is an option - i would
look elsewhere ! (ie: dlink ?)
