Changing from NTL to ADSL - query re settings

Hi,

I've purchased a pc off a friend who had it hooked up to NTL's cable modem
service. I'll shortly be having ADSL installed and wondered if anybody
could tell me what settings I'm going to have to change.

You are going to need to buy yourself an ADSL modem or router and install it
onto this new PC.

You will also need to uninstall any NTL cable software that you find by
going to the Windows control panel and clicking add/remove programs and
seeing if there is anything that looks like NTL software in the list.
