No, I'm afraid it didn't work for me. Other than the suggestion (solution)
made on the link you provided earlier, I also tried installing VirusScan in
Safe Mode and even reinstalled WinME_just to see if it'll work. Have also
carried out scandisk, defragmenting, and whatever else I could think of. I
keep getting the same error saying, "System Administrator has set policies
to prevent this installation." I also checked for viruses but my system is
clean. Short of formatting the hard drive and starting from scratch, if you
can come up with something else that may solve this problem, I'd really
appreciate it. Funny thing is, I never encountered this problem before and
I've been working with the system I have now (not networked) for over 3
years now. In any case, thanks again for trying to help.
