Actually, once the router is running, there is no concept
of server -- all computers are equal. The computer wired
to port 1 was just used to configure the router (the
router is a computer per se). You don't even need to have
a computer wired to the base station once it is running.
So, you don't need to uninstall any settings from the
eMachines, but you need to: (a) install the adapter in
the eMachines, and (b) configure the HP to access the
network. You can use the CD for this (add a computer to
the LAN, instead of reinstalling the router), or the HP
might already be set for this (try connecting the cable
and see what happens).
