Support,

I am wondering what the impact of changing licensing modes in an existing
network will be. We currently have 10 servers in a mixed 2000/2003
environment; with 1 TS and 1 Exchange Server.

Our AD is 2003 Standard. Three of the servers are set for Per Server, while
the rest are per seat.

Any feedback concering this topic will be reatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Frankly, I'd just stop and disable the Windows license logging service
everywhere. and keep track of the licenses manually. You'll be presumed to
be in 'per seat' mode then, so of course you'll make sure you have enough.
The license logging service is buggy and is not mandatory.

[This is different from TS licensing, which you must keep running. ]
