Use a DNS name (no-ip.com) or get a static IP.

Static IP addresses are often difficult to get through many ISPs nowadays,
at least in my area. Also, having a DNS address is an added cost.

Using Neteng's comment above, do a search for dymanic dns. You can get it
through no-ip.com or dyndns.com. Basically, it creates a faux DNS name on
the Internet and you have a utility on your home PC that will update the DNS
name with a different IP address each time it changes.

Hi,
From what i understanding from no-ip, i can use no ip to create a alies for
my PC ip adress and i can connect to this PC with that alies insted of ip
adress col. But i want to use my PC at home with Dynamic ip to connect to a
server in Office, and the router in office useing port forwording and there
are more people who useing this port forwording to access this server( becase
of changing my ip i have to configur the router in office every time that my
ip is changed). now i would like to now if no ip would help me in my case?

Thanks,

Shahin.

sure assuming you can put in a hostname versus an IP address.
