Changing Base Station

I have a new computer and want to move my current wired
base station computer to wireless and put it in another
room. So I need to make the new computer the wired base
station computer.

How exactly would I go about this? I currently have the
new computer wired through a hub temporarily but will not
need the hub after I complete the set up.

If I set up on the new computer will the network get
confused if the current computer is still the base
station computer?

I am using the MN-500 wireless base station hooked to my
DSL modem.

I bought a wireless PCI card for the current base station
computer but am unsure what order to install, setup, and
switch the computers around in.

Thanks,
Rick
