I did a dumb thing ( to correct a conflict) and changed 192.168.0.1 to something else ( I thought 192.168.0.20), and now I cant get into the admin menu ( ie http://192.168.0.1 doesnt work). Is there a way I can reset it to default values...or use telnet to get in??

Thanks

Marvin

What exactly did you change? The IP address of your PC? Your ADSL router?

You'd need to know the router's IP address to use telnet.

You can probably determine the router's IP address, eliminating the
need to reset it, with this program:

Angry IP Scanner
http://www.angryziber.com/ipscan

If that doesn't help, all of the broadband routers that I've used have
a reset button to return them to factory settings. Check the router
documentation for how to use it.

You have a couple of options:
- Get into http://192.168.0.20
- Reset the router. There is usually a recessed button that you
can press with the pointy end of a paper clip. Doing so will
erase all current settings and restore factory defaults.
