Leave the machine name alone. It has nothing to do with it.
The error is normal and means that this was spam that was not including a
proper domain name with the "HELO" SMTP command. SMTP server requires a
proper FQDN in the HELO command such as:
"HELO mydomain.com"
It doesn't have anything to do with what you call your machine.
