Change computer name in Network Neighborhood?

Hi,

Is it possible to change the name of a computer as it shows in Network
Neighborhood?

At the moment the computer shows as GBRAMWELL and I want it to show as
Gerald's

Only by changing the name of your computer identification to Gerald's.

you can go to settings, control panel,
network properties and there there is a tab called
identity, there you can set or change the name of your
computer. You will need to reboot your computer and in
case it is needed have on hand your win98 cd.
