I have a Linksys WRT 54 GL router, I must have changed the channel to
6 now my ASUS laptop running Vista cant't connect but my macbook can.
I have looked for a way to change the channel number in the ASUS but I
can't it was working fine until I made changes to the router. BTW the
router is connected to a win xp desktop. Thanks for any help.

Jeff, thanks a lot for your answer. I changed to WPA2 Personal with a
10 character pass phrase I wanted to use a 20 character one but
apparently Vista didn't like it. I now have four computers connected
and they are all humming along. I did have one more question: Is it
possible to change the login name and password on the Linksys to
something other than admin? I haven't found a way to do it, or is it
OK to leave it as is.
