CP,
I've never come across an instance where a reservation has not worked.
Best Regards,

This is with respect to simulating a static IP using DHCP Server.
Client Reservation is to simulate Static IP using the Dynamic IP with a
DHCP server where in we associate the MAC address of the device to the
required IP address. By doing this when DHCP allocates IP to its
clients, it will check for the MAC address of the client and will give
the same IP always.
Does this happen always? Or are there some scenarios where in the system
will NOT assign the IP Address to match the MAC Address?
As far as i know and also checked on the net, it is an ideal scenario
which ALWAYS works. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks,
Regards,
