Captive Portal for Wireless Hotspots

CAPTIVE PORTAL FOR WIRELESS HOTSPOTS

Im looking for a captive portal to set up a wireless hotspot.

Im reading reviews on monowall at present which runs on freeBSD which
Ive never used.

can anyone recommend what they are using as Captive Portals ?

Or does anyone know what the hotspot operators use for their captive
portals ?

Many are based on nocat

im looking at zoneCD from publicip.net which is based on nocat,

in order to get this working i need the following (please correct me)

1) pc with 2 nics running zoneCD
2) broadband router with inbuilt switch (saves the expense of an
additional switch)
3) Wireless AP (with or without switch)

one nic on the zoneCD machine plugs into the switch on the broadband
router.
the other nic plugs into the ethernet port on the AP.

thats it.

I dont need anything else do I ?
