Dear Eric,
WinXP is pretty transparent. However, Win98 and WinMe
may not be so transparent. In the WinMe, check the
connection configuration to make sure that in all
occurrences, the workgroup name and SSID is the same as
all the other PCs on the network.
Sometimes, it takes patience and a couple of re-boots
until the pre-21st Century versions of Windows recognizes
the share. Start by simply IP addressing the WinMe share
from the WinXP via IE(i.e.,
http://192.168.2.Me/Meshare).
