i've traced the problem to the client networking. The host
can access teh client's hd, but the client can't detect
the host pc's. i've also removed/uninstal all adapters,
tcp/ip's, clients for ms network, file&printer sharing, &
reinstalling them.
i use ethernet switch & ethernet modem. Since setting up
the switch, the host pc's (& client's), switch's &
modem's LEDs all blink - pause only for a few seconds &
blink again. The host's desktop connection status
indicates bytes sent out continuously. Is this a faulty
setup?
