Can't see Workgroup from server

Here's the problem, we can see all the computers including the server from
each workstation, however, from the server we can't see any of the
workstations. No computers are showing up in the workgroup and all settings
as far as I can tell are correct.

if I go to Run > \\computername it works just fine. Now, you're probably
wondering why I'm asking this question if everything works fine but we just
can't see the computers from the server. Well, my boss likes using Vertas
backup software, he feels that his disaster recovery location should be his
computer, however if we can't see the computers from the server, then we
can't assign a disaster recovery location to Veritas and we have an unhappy
boss... can anyone help??

You'll need to give more details of your setup including
protocols running and the OS running on the clients and
servers.
