Can't See Server from Win2K Machine with 2 NICS

Good Day...
I have just set up a Windows Server 2003 and configured it
with a domain and AD. Everything seems to be working just
fine for all the computers here, except one Windows 2000
Pro machine that uses two network cards. It accesses the
Local Network with one card (the onboard NVidia) on subnet
192.168.8.x and accesses a single PC (a CNC machine
controller) on a RealTek Intel-Based NIC on subnet
192.168.10.x. The computer can see the rest of the
network just fine, so the card, router and cables are
working, but it cannot see the Server to join the new
domain. I have used the same process for moving all win2k
machines from a workgroup-based network to the new domain-
based network, and they mostly worked fine and have all
been moved, except this last computer. The computer name
and user has been added to the AD on the server as well.
I have received the error Event ID 5171 trying to join the
domain.

Does anyone have any clue as to what I can do to join this
computer to the domain? I have tried removing the extra
network card from the machine to join the domain and that
also did not work. Ideas?

Hi Marc,

how is your DNS setting in Windows 2000 server set? It should point to IP of
your AD (Windows 2003 server)...
