Hi, i install the service pack 1 to the Windows 2003 server and now i can't
see the win 2003 server in my network places and the shares , but i can
access the server and the mapping because i know what the share names are.
The server work fine but i can't see it.

1- The firewall is desactivated !
2- All the nertwork protocol and service are installed.

The rare thing is that when i uninstall de File and printer sharing and
installed again then i can see it in the my network places but later it goes
invicible again.

I installed the service pack 1 to all my 7 windows 2003 server but only 3
have this condition !

Are the servers not showing up multihomed or are they remote access
servers? It sounds like the old Netbios name problem with multiple
interfaces.

They are 7 servers with windows 2003 server standard.

Server1 = Active Directory primary domain controler (invisible)
Server2 = Active Directory backup domain controler (invisible)
Server3= file server member of the domain
Server4= file server member of the domain
Server5= file server member of the domain
Server6= file server member of the domain (invisible)
Server7= file server member of the domain

The network is local and they have static ip. Even when i log into this
server i can't see theirs names in the my network places, it only appear thr
others:
Server3
Server4
Server5
Server7

The list you see in My Network Places is built by the computer browser
service. This is an NT legacy service which uses Netbios names and LAN
broadcasts. So the first thing to check is that they all have Netbios over
TCP/IP enabled. The next thing to check is that they all have the same
Netbios name for the domain. After that you use the standard debugging
process for browser problems. See KB 188001 "Description of the Microsoft
Computer Browser Service" and 188305 "Troubleshooting the Microsoft
Computer Browser Service" .

The browstat ustility mentioned in these articles can be loaded from the
support tools folder on the server CD.
