Can't see other computers

I have just updated my home network and am using a wireless router with a
hardwired desktop and 2 wireless laptops and can't see other computers. I
am using Zone Alarm (always have and could see each system before) and am
not sure how to set the router to allow sharing. Linksys has been no help.
I have all systems running XP Pro.
It appears from my reading of Practically Networked that this is not
possible but I don't see why not. Can anyone help me?
TIA

Ensure you have XP's own firewall turned off on your computers, it will have
been put on by default when you installed the new connections.

You got WEP or WAP enabled on the router disable it and see if the
computers can see each other. Otherthan that, that's the only thing from
a router stand point that I have encountered that would make the wireless
and wired machines not see each other. I would also take one of the
wireless machines and make it wired and see if two wired machines can see
each other.

You also may want to switch the NIC's protocol to NWlink/IPX/SPX Netbios
compatable, which allows MS machines to communicate with each other. This
is the protocol I used to allow the wired and wireless machines to see
each other while WEP is enabled on my 11S4 V1 router.

Try shuting down ZA and take it out of the picture just to make sure.

Thanks but I have it working finally. I've enabled Netbios over TCP/IP and
that did it.
All is good now.
