Can't see my DNS's

I have a static IP from Verizon. My gateway is setup in the interfaces file.
My two DSNs are setup in the resolv.conf file. I can ping the gateway but
not the DSNs. Everything works fine if I do the same setup on my Windows
box.

Any ideas?

Thanks as always.

What does 'route' say. Is your Gateway set as default route ( 0.0.0.0 ).
If not try ' route add -net default gw $YOUR_GW '

Yep, my default gateway is setup under route. Only, I do it like this:

route add default gw x.x.x.x

But tried your way too and doesn't work.
